Penn State Extension will offer agriculture and outdoor related activities for families in downtown Lewistown during Kid Connection.
Kid Connection is an annual event in downtown Lewistown that attracts hundreds of families and thousands of people. Local organizations provide free activities and experiences. Penn State Extension will coordinate Ag Block activities, offering youth the opportunity to learn about nature, animals, the outdoors, and other agriculture-related topics. Activities with items that the children can take home will reinforce the education. Items handed out can be healthy foods, seeds to grow, or honey to taste.
