About this Event

Elementary age students from across central PA are invited to join the PA Department of Agriculture to learn about all aspects of the agriculture industry through exciting hands-on activities.

On May 7th and 8th, the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture will host students from across the Commonwealth at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg for an opportunity to discover Pennsylvania Agriculture. Students will have the opportunity to learn about everything from animals, to bees, to forestry and beyond through a variety of hands-on activities and engaging educational stations.

Farm City Day will give students the opportunity to engage with various aspects of the agricultural industry and learn about agriculture’s connections to science, math, nutrition, geography and more.

New this year, the event will include Sensory accommodations and activities for students with sensory sensitivities.
