About this Event
Gear up for an action-packed day of exploration and collaboration with Pennon Education and the York County Library: Village Library on Saturday, May 3 from 10:30 AM-12:30 PM! This hands-on event, designed for children and families, will dive into the thrilling world of forces, motion and innovation!
Throughout the event, participants will have the chance to explore a variety of interactive activity stations. At the Maker’s Station: Ramp Racers! station, young engineers will use LEGOs to design and build their very own vehicles, then test them on ramps to see how gravity and friction affect their speed and distance.
Next, head to the Marble Maze Madness! area, where you’ll design your very own marble maze using Magnatiles. After building your maze, you’ll launch marbles down ramps and time their journeys. Finally, don’t miss the Rollercoaster Reality: Green Screen Adventures! Step into the action as you become the star of your very own rollercoaster ride! With the magic of green screen technology, you’ll experience the thrills of motion in an entirely new way. This event is all about igniting curiosity and sparking creativity while learning about forces, motion and innovation.
