About this Event

The Rivet strives to connect materials, people, ideas, and the means for anyone to Make Anything! This year for RLD 2026 join us for the STEM Challenge to assemble a tabletop baseball diamond complete with a swinging batter and big-league fun!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

Participants will receive pre-cut CNC components to assemble and customize their own tabletop baseball diamond. During the workshop, they will learn basic woodshop tool use as well as an introduction to the 3D printing process.

Project completion includes assembling the swinging batter mechanism and placing and customizing the player as well as the grandstand.

Registration is required and limited to 15 participants due to space constraints.

This event is open to the public.
