About this Event

Live Inclusive's Disability Confidence Training is delivered by people with lived experience of disability. The aim of the training is to make everyone more confident about disability issues whether you are a disabled person, carer or non-disabled person. in other words, everyone

Live Inclusive Disability Confidence training offers:

  • A comprehensive understanding of disability issues.
  • Activities to facilitate understanding
  • Group work Handshake
  • Video footage Video camera
  • Interactive boardgame developed by a disabled woman, Toyah Wordsworth Dice
  • Awareness of pan-disability issues faced by disabled people, including both visible and hidden disabilities.
  • Appropriate language and etiquette.

The training is a safe space where everyone is encouraged to ask questions and share experiences. There is no need to book please feel free to come and join us!
