Home Composting 101 will use fun activities teaching about food waste reduction strategies, what waste products can be composted and the different types of home composters that can be used.
At Home Composting 101, expect to learn about ways to keep food waste and other compostables out of landfills. Not only is this good for the environment, it also saves you money! You will learn about strategies that will reduce your food waste and stretch your grocery budget. Through fun games and songs, you will learn about what waste materials are compostable. And we will go over in detail how different types of composters work so that you can decide what is best for your home, even if your home is an apartment!
