About this Event

The I.M.P.A.C.T. Interactive Family Day provides hands-on learning experiences designed to strengthen parent-child relationships, build emotional regulation skills, and support healthy family reunification through play, art, and guided connection activities.

The I.M.P.A.C.T. Interactive Family Day is a structured, trauma-informed event designed to provide hands-on learning experiences that strengthen parent-child relationships, build emotional regulation skills, and support healthy family reunification. Through guided play, and creative expression families move through an intentional journey of connection, healing, skill-building, and commitment. The event is intentionally structured to accommodate up to 50 participants through five interactive learning stations, with families rotating in small groups of approximately ten every 25 minutes to ensure meaningful engagement, personalized coaching, and smooth transitions. The outcome of I.M.P.A.C.T. Interactive Family Day is the strengthening of protective factors, the modeling and practice of healthy family interaction, and the promotion of sustainable reunification by transforming skill-building concepts into real-time, shared experiences.

Station 1: This station emphasizes communication, patience, and collaboration. Parents and children must strategize together to complete the challenge, modeling healthy problem-solving and cooperative interaction.

Station 2: This activity supports emotional expression, shared goal setting, and vision-building. Each family leaves with a tangible reminder of their progress and commitment to growth.

At Station 3: This station reinforces safe expression and equips families with practical tools to use at home.

Station 4: This exercise highlights listening skills, shared leadership, and resilience when faced with challenges.

Finally, Station 5: Families conclude their journey in the Family Affirmation Booth, where they record a shared commitment statement.
