About this Event
Come join our school Family Groups to cleanup and beautify our school! We need lots of helping hands (that might get dirty) to make this day successful. A day working outside in the sunshine with your kids will feed your soul!
At Académie Lafayette Family Groups provides an outlet for students to engage in Postive Behavior Support (PBS). We meet once a month to foster social emotional learning among students. We encourage camaraderie between grade levels and community involvement. For the Clean Up and Beautification event on May 9 we will be enhancing our school’s outdoor environment. We want to uplift the safety and quality of the community and the grounds around our school building. We will provide a clean up crew for the residential homes around our school, create a privacy fence for the safety of students during recess, create a peaceful area for staff to enjoy the outdoors and create a sensory play area/community garden to explore nature and nurture cognitive development and social emotional skills for our students.
