Using binoculars and identification apps such as Merlin, you’ll learn to spot, listen for, and identify the many bird species that visit during spring migration. This pilot program is designed for day-use participants of all skill levels, offering guided instruction on observing behaviors, logging sightings, and using technology to enhance your birding experience. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced birder, you’ll gain practical skills to enjoy and track the vibrant avian life around PEEC.
