About this Event

During RML students will complete a real-life game of Life. They will be responsible for budgeting and education, households, bills, and not BUSTING their budget. We will bridge the gap with education, skills and career readiness to show how employability skills alter salary and availability of resources. Students will complete the digital artifacts in their Social Studies classroom the day after the event. All students must complete it within one week if absent post-event. Social Studies Middle School Teachers will instruct students on logging in and completing the task.

In this game, students step into the shoes of Volunteer Station residents.

Each receives a unique profile: career, education level, income, family size, and life scenario.

Facing real-world challenges like housing, transportation, and unexpected expenses,

they must learn to manage their finances effectively.
