About this Event
Educators engage in an in-person session of STEM Tech Tools featuring Coding, Electronics, and Engineering. STEM is an integral part of student-centered learning and is the framework for student engagement with an emphasis on innovation, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Educators will participate in the ReMake Learning Makerspace PD that can contribute to increased student engagement. Educators will learn how to utilize inquiry based learning and computational thinking techniques when technology is accessible in the classroom. Technological items will range from no tech to high tech in order to allow for diverse learners and based on experience/comfort with technology. Learning will extend to higher level technology, such as the 3D printers or laser cutters, for those interested in advancing opportunities.
