About this Event

Weekly Birdwatching program at various tracts within the Clear Creek Forest District.

A 4-part birdwatching series that accommodates birders of every skill level. Get an opportunity to improve your birdwatching skills and learn birding by ear techniques. In addition, discover why different bird species inhabit different forest ecosystems. Each week we will be visiting a different location with its own unique bird habitat. These forest ecosystems include Early Successional Hardwood, Upland Mixed Deciduous, Old-Growth Hemlock, and Meadowlands. Binoculars will be provided for those who need them. This program series will run from 9:00 a.m. to around 10:30 a.m. every Saturday starting May 9th and ending May 30th. Please see the flyer for locations.
