Come take a tour of our raised bed gardening that our 4th grade students tend, at the same time you can meet our new “fowl” additions to add another dimension to our garden. Our 4th grade students have done everything from building the raised bed, to research on items to grow to now wanting to expand to add chickens to the mix. Their goal is to have a farm market to sell their items. Upon arrival of the chicken, they will begin the care and upkeep with the goal of selling the eggs to staff. Your tour will allow you to see the gardening space in action as the kids take care of The gardening area. You will have a chance to talk to the students and see their understanding of the space, how they decided to design it, what they have decided to grow and their plan for the farmers market.
