About this Event

Celebrate our upcoming Summer Reading program “Color Our World” and learn to paint like artist Alma Woodsey Thomas!

At this all ages event, we will learn about artist Alma Woodsey Thomas, and take a closer look at her unique style of painting. Then, we will create our own paintings inspired by her unique abstract pointillism style!

Each participant will get to take home their own painting, and we will be giving away three books about Alma Woodsey Thomas to three lucky participants!

Our Summer Reading program, “Color Our World” will begin on June 9th this year! Be sure to visit the library this summer and join us for all the free art activities we will be having.
