Class 1: Managing Emotions
Theme: Understanding and Expressing Emotions
Book: The Color Monster by Anna Llenas
Class 2: Building Empathy and Kindness
Theme: Showing Kindness to Others
Book: Have You Filled a Bucket Today? by Carol McCloud
Class 3: Managing Big Emotions
Theme: Coping with Anger, Frustration, and Sadness
Book: When Sophie Gets Angry—Really, Really Angry by Molly Bang
Class 4: Building Community
Theme: Learning About Friendship and Helping Others
Book: How Do Dinosaurs Play with Their Friends? by Jane Yolen and Mark Teague
All families will receive a copy of the weekly book and a take home activity to continue the conversation at home! Families will receive information from local community resources and county workers will join in the fun!
