About this Event

She Builds is a hands-on, confidence-boosting workshop where girls explore STEM by designing, constructing, and testing creative engineering projects in a supportive, girl-centered space.

She Builds is an empowering, hands-on engineering workshop designed to inspire girls to explore STEM through creativity, problem-solving, and real-world building challenges. In this supportive, girl-centered environment, participants will work with tools, building materials, and maker-style supplies to design and construct projects such as bridges, towers, simple machines, or inventions of their own imagining. As they plan, build, test, and improve their creations, girls will develop confidence, resilience, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of how engineering shapes the world around us. This event welcomes learners of all ages and abilities and encourages them to take risks, ask questions, and proudly step into the role of “builder” and “creator.” Families and caregivers are invited to join in and cheer on the process as girls discover their power to design and build anything they can imagine.
