STEM-based educational programs and events will reach students across 15 counties in Northcentral Pennsylvania.

Bloomsburg, Pa. — The Bloomsburg Children’s Museum is pleased to announce it has received a $11,000 grant from the PPL Foundation. These funds will support “Wired for Success: Empowering Students Through STEM.”

This collection of STEM-based educational programs and events will reach students across 15 counties in Northcentral Pennsylvania. The programs include Battle in the Burg robotics tournament, competitive science fair, Homeschool Hangouts, after-school STEM programs, and Mobile Maker programs, aimed to ignite interest in STEM fields and careers among students of all backgrounds. These programs provide hands-on, immersive learning experiences that engage over 1,800 students annually, particularly in rural and underserved communities.
