About this Event
We will be using recycled materials as planters and planting flower and vegetable seeds in soil to start backyard container gardens. Students will learn about the growing seasons and the native plants for our region. They will also learn about plant life cycles.
Students will each receive a kit of materials, including soil and seeds. They will each provide recycled containers to plant the seeds. These could include milk jugs, egg cartons, plastic containers, or any other materials they think of to use as seed starting containers.
