About this Event
Join us in helping find the next generation of entrepreneurial trailblazers in our community. Attendees have the opportunity to learn from local small business owners, share passions, design business pitches, & participate in entrepreneurship design challenges to win prizes!
5 Tribe is a Philadelphia small business, founded by two educators; Dr. Jessica Thomas and Joshua Thomas, that are committed to building communal success through vending services and entrepreneurial learning. Therefore, we are excited to partner with Franklin Learning Center High School and other women and minority-owned small businesses to host Trailblazers Academy…Charting New Paths with Entrepreneurship event as part of the Southeastern PA’s Remake Learning Days Festival.
Join us in helping find the next generation of entrepreneurial trailblazers in our community! Students grades 8th-12th have the opportunity to learn from local small business owners and hear their business elevator pitches, students can share their passions, in addition to participating in entrepreneurship design challenges to win prizes and awards. This is an opportunity for youth to share and find their voices, collaborate with their peers and family members, as they identify new ways to create products or services connected to their interests.
We encourage all students with these interests to attend, and especially students in CTE/Career & Technical Education Programs and Business Pathways. Great opportunity to take your learning beyond the classroom, network with local business trailblazers (some graduates of Philadelphia School District), gain mentors and have fun!
