About this Event

Come work a shift at the PHactory - a hands-on family maker night where Penn Hills students and families explore creativity, engineering, and problem-solving together through fun, interactive STEM activities!

A Shift @ The PHactory invites families to experience what learning looks like when students are empowered to create, build, and experiment. During this interactive evening, participants will rotate through hands-on maker stations featuring open-ended building challenges, simple engineering tasks, creative design activities, and collaborative problem-solving using every day and maker materials.

Designed for elementary learners and their families, the event encourages caregivers and children to work side by side in a welcoming makerspace where curiosity, creativity, and perseverance are celebrated. By opening the PHactory to the Penn Hills community, this Remake Learning Days event highlights equitable access to innovative learning and shows that making, engineering, and design thinking are for everyone. Join us to explore, create, and discover—RSVP to be part of the fun!

This event is intended for Penn Hills School District students, families, and community members, including those who live within the Penn Hills community.
