About this Event

What is an arboretum? A living museum of trees and shrubs, where the exhibits - the plants - don't mind being touched. Come explore their quirks and habits, enjoy hands-on activities, and celebrate all they do for us!

Tree Pittsburgh’s riverside campus has just been officially recognized as an Arboretum.

We have a wide collection of woodies for you to meet! Can you tell them apart? Enjoy hands-on activities – from seed-starting to mulch-making, sign-painting to tree-sizing – and behind-the scenes access to our living museum.

Drop in with your little ones (saplings!) and visit our activity stations at your own pace.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
