About this Event

The Early Excellence Project’s 5th Birthday Celebration is a joyful event honoring five years of advancing early literacy, strengthening child care businesses, and investing in Black and marginalized children and families, while inviting our community to help shape the next chapter of impact.

Join us as we celebrate five years of strengthening child care businesses and supporting the leaders who care for our youngest learners. At the heart of the Early Excellence Project is business stabilization—helping child care providers build sustainable systems, strengthen leadership, and improve financial practices so their programs can thrive. When child care businesses are strong, families benefit from consistent, high-quality care and communities grow stronger, too.

This special evening will spotlight providers who have taken bold steps to strengthen their programs through executive coaching, operational support, and capacity-building services. We will also recognize outstanding partners and child care leaders whose collaboration and commitment embody the spirit of early excellence.

Designed with families in mind, the celebration will include interactive crafts and learning stations for children, delicious food for all ages, and birthday cake to mark the milestone. While children explore and create, adults can connect and learn more about the impact of this work across our region.

Come celebrate the progress we’ve made and look ahead to the next chapter of building a stronger early learning ecosystem—together.
