About this Event

Join Moonshot Museum for Future Explorers Day, a free, high-energy community celebration where students build, design, explore, and meet real aerospace professionals while discovering exciting pathways into the future of space.

For one inspiring Saturday, the museum transforms into an interactive hub of creativity, innovation, and career exploration for learners in Pre-K through 12th grade. At Moonshot Museum, families can see a real lunar spacecraft being built and then step into the roles that make missions possible—engineering, design, robotics, communications, business, and more.

Throughout the day, participants will rotate through hands-on stations like rover-building, mission control simulations, engineering challenges, and creative problem-solving activities, with age-appropriate experiences for younger learners and deeper aerospace exploration for older students. Live career panels featuring aerospace professionals will help students connect their interests to real-world pathways.

Future Explorers Day is a free community event designed to spark curiosity, expand access, and show every learner that there’s a place for their passion in the future of space. Your mission starts here!
