About this Event
The 2025 Girls in Gaming Summit is an event that invites girls in grades 6-12 and their teachers to hear from women in the games and themed entertainment industries in a morning of Q and A sessions, presentations, and fun.
This event run by ETC K-12 and AIU3’s TransformED is designed to expose girls and young women to the world of opportunities in game design and development, interactive/themed entertainment, and other related fields.
We have gathered lady representatives from academia, the games industry, and beyond to answer real questions from local girls and educators — This will happen during an hour long session which kicks off the day.
Following the Q and A, the same audience will hear from ETC K-12 Network Coordinator Anthony Palyszeski about careers in the “domain” of games, spanning the entire spectrum from coding and art to human resources and public relations as well as a presentation from current ETC student Meghna Anil about her time serving as a producer on Riot Games’ smash hit auto-battler Teamfight Tactics.
To end the day guests will be given a tour of the ETC emphasizing the variety of opportunities for young women and girls who are interested in STEAM.
