Community festival to celebrate sustainability at ECS
The ECS Green Roots Sustainability Fair is a festival Join ECS for our GreenRoots Sustainability Fair event where sustainability takes center stage! Every day, students take deep dives into innovative, out-the-door education, and the GreenRoots events showcase the ECS community’s commitment to sustainability while promising fun-packed activities in honor of our Earth. Let’s get rooted in the ECS mission together!
K-5 Green Roots Friday, May 9th will be held at the ECS Intermediate School

This year’s K-5 event will feature:
- 2nd Grade’s We CAN Initiative
- The Green Team
- Ms. Amy, Spider Mentor
- EcoStewards Activities
- ECS PCO’s used book and uniform sales
6-12 Green Roots Friday, May 16th will be held at ECS Middle School

This year’s 6-12 event will feature:
- Student presentations from 7th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th Grade
- 8th Grade Capstone Presentations and Award Ceremony
- 11th & 12th Grade Scholarship Award Ceremony
- Bike ECS
- Robotics Demonstrations
- ECS PCO’s book swap and activities
- Sweet Beats from DJ Anomaly
