About this Event

Join us for an afternoon of enriching free play. Explore the benefits of the Learning Expanded Through Active Play (L.E.A.P.) program and kick off summer with an afternoon of outdoor free play.

L.E.A.P. (Learning Expanded through Active Play) is a program that provides students with daily opportunities for outdoor play in the primary grades. Research demonstrates that opportunities for outdoor, active play can benefit children in a number of ways, including improved academic performance, attention, peer interaction skills, and physical and mental well being. Learn about the program, explore outside, and observe free play in action. Three elementary schools = three separate L.E.A.P. events. These three events are rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held indoors.
