About this Event

The Portrait of a Talbot Exhibition of Learning is a dynamic event where students in grades 3-12 showcase their learning journeys through creative presentations, projects, and performances, demonstrating growth and innovation while connecting their work to our learner profile.

We are excited to share that the Portrait of a Talbot: Exhibition of Learning has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 6:00–8:00 PM at the Hampton High School Library Media Center.

The Portrait of a Talbot Exhibition of Learning is an engaging and inspiring event that celebrates the learning journeys and accomplishments of Hampton Township School District students in grades 3-12. As part of Remake Learning Days 2025, this event highlights student creativity, growth, and innovation through various presentation formats, offering families, educators, and community members a chance to witness firsthand the incredible work in our schools.

At the heart of this exhibition is the Portrait of a Talbot, the district’s framework for preparing students with the essential competencies needed for future success: Collaboration, Empathy, Communication,  Learner’s Mindset, Critical Thinking, and Perseverance. Students will showcase their products and share their entire learning process, from initial ideas and challenges to the strategies and solutions that helped them succeed.

The event will feature diverse presentation formats designed to provide students with multiple ways to share their work, including:

• Presentations

• Poster sessions

• Fine art exhibitions

• Individual and group performances

A unique aspect of this event is its emphasis on interdisciplinary projects, encouraging students to blend academic subjects such as STEAM, humanities, fine arts, and world languages. These projects reflect the integration and real-world problem-solving skills that are at the core of the Portrait of a Talbot initiative.

Through their participation, students will articulate how their work connects to the competencies, share how they navigated challenges, and celebrate their achievements. The Exhibition of Learning focuses on both process and product, allowing students to demonstrate not just what they learned but how they learned.

Whether you are a family member, community leader, or educator, the Portrait of a Talbot Exhibition of Learning offers an engaging and interactive experience. It provides a platform to celebrate our students’ achievements, the support of our teachers, and the importance of fostering a lifelong love of learning.
