About this event

Join us as we celebrate World Migratory Bird Day!

Did you know that May 11th is World Migratory Bird Day?  Join us at Bird Park for a guided bird walk, activities, and more!  Meet an ornithologist (a person who studies birds) and learn about the profession.

Try on a pair of binoculars and explore the tools of the trade.  Discover the threats birds face and the steps you can take in your own yard to help them thrive.

There will be hands-on activities for all ages.

The event is FREE and no registration is required.

Career Ready PA is excited to uplift Remake Learning Days events and provide a seamless opportunity for K-12 students to obtain artifacts for their career portfolio. Events that qualify for Career Ready PA Backpack Challenge will provide participants the opportunity to gain a 21st century learning skill or be exposed to future careers. After this event, students will need to complete the artifact survey.  This survey will be shared with your public K-12 school so you and your school can earn career portfolio credit for the Backpack Challenge!
