About this Event
We will be learning about Earth, plants and trees and providing fun hands-on activities to go along with the theme.
We will be having an Earth Day/Arbor Day Story Hour on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 11:00 am. We will be reading books about Earth, plants and trees, singing songs, playing a game, having a fun plant scavenger hunt and doing fun hands on activities with the kids. We plan to partner with our local Tractor Supply store to plant seeds in cups for the kids to take home and plant at home. We are also hoping to partner with our local WV Extension Office to have other fun activities for the kids to do. We will also plan to have a special station set up for the kids to learn about plant/animal life cycles including a magnetic life cycle game and plant/animal life cycle matching cards.
