Join us for Remake Learning Days, a hands-on learning festival for families in regions across the United States and around the world! Participate by hosting an innovative and fun learning experience for youth and families.
What’s Involved?
Remake Learning Days is about intentionally creating spaces and places for young people and their caring adults to experience hands-on learning together. Hosting an event doesn’t need to be complicated to be effective! If your organization already offers engaging learning experiences, you can showcase some of the fantastic things you do all year and introduce new audiences to your work during Remake Learning Days. Small businesses and large employers alike can inspire learners by opening your doors for a little show-and-tell combined with simple activities families can do together.
Check out the six learning themes featured in the festival for inspiration! If you need ideas for easy-to-implement activities, check out this list from partners throughout the Kansas City region.

Mini Grant Support
To support their Remake Learning Days events, Kansas City region organizations may apply for mini grants in the $250 range, made possible by the generosity of The DeBruce Foundation. Larger block grants are available for initiatives with multiple partners or neighborhood leaders organizing a series of events for a specific area. All grants will be managed by the Community Capital Fund.
Applications close on Jan. 31, 2024. Funds can be used to cover any food costs, supplies, staff time, technology or other expenses related to the event.
Grant recipients will be asked to share photos of events or documentation of online activities and complete a post-event survey.
