Official Kickoff to RLD Across PA
Be a part of discoverED 2026!
As the official kickoff to RLD Across PA, discoverED is a STEAM design challenge for 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders. On May 5, classrooms will virtually connect for across Pennsylvania and share maker skills and strategies for the design challenge – “the hoop glider”.
About discoverED
First and second grade classrooms across the state of Pennsylvania will be invited to virtually swap schools to experience how STEAM and maker pedagogies are thriving in classrooms different from their own. Participating schools will connect virtually, and students will plan, create and iterate their own catapult using maker design skills. A live feed of this event will be streamed between classroom partners as we launch Remake Learning Days across Pennsylvania!
