discoverED kicks off the RLD festivals across Pennsylvania!
In 2025, first and second grade classrooms across the state of Pennsylvania will be invited to virtually swap schools for an afternoon to experience how STEAM and maker pedagogies are thriving in classrooms different from their own. Participating schools will connect virtually, and students will plan, create and iterate their own catapult using maker design skills.
On Tuesday, May 6, 2025, participating districts are invited to have their first- and second-grade classrooms “swap schools” for an afternoon to experience how STEAM and maker pedagogies are thriving in a classroom different from their own. Participating schools will connect virtually, and students will plan, create, and iterate their very own catapult! A live feed of this event will be streamed between classroom partners as we launch Remake Learning Days across Pennsylvania!
