Dr. Melissa Survinski is an Enrichment Facilitator at Hampton Middle and High School who loves helping students turn curiosity into creativity. A former Latin teacher with a PhD in Instructional Management and Leadership, she works with learners of all ability levels through research, maker projects, writing, the arts, and civic engagement. She is a 2025 LIGHT Teacher Fellow, National Geographic Certified Educator, AP Research advisor, and host of an annual Holocaust Literature Summit for middle school students.
Fun facts: She mentors students for science fairs, organizes gifted competitions, researches humanitarian-focused makerspaces, and is a published children’s author—because learning should always be creative, meaningful, and fun.
