Hosting a Remake Learning Days event

Thank you for your interest in hosting a Wisconsin Remake Learning Days Festival event in our area. Below are the steps you should take to include your event in the festival. Remember, we are here to help at any point!

1. Before applying

  • Review the “About” and FAQ pages on Remake Learning Days/Badgerland.org. If this information and the selection criteria corresponds with the capacities and goals of your event and organization, you are ready for the next step!
  • Determine some basics about your event (date, time, audience, location, etc.) or contact us for help coming up with ideas! Even if you don’t have all the info yet, you can always make changes to your submission at a later date.
  • Create a captivating event title and description for your event listing to use in your Event Submission. Include a fun photo or image. Be as specific as possible and include things like parking, accessibility or preregistration information.

2. The application process

You can save your work in progress.  Once you hit the Submit button, Wisconsin’s Remake Learning Days staff will review and notify you of your status.

3. Before the festival

  • If your event is approved, you are ready to start promoting as an official Remake Learning Days Festival event! Congratulations! We will provide media templates, a social media kit and press release information along with other outreach support materials and promotion coverage.
  • Review the Event Host Information email which highlights the local Calendar & Deadlines, for national initiatives, see Important National Deadlines.
  • Participate in the Wake Up Wisconsin Trivia Contest Promotion by donating organization-related SWAG, merchandise and trivia questions.
  • Continue to stay in communication with Remake Learning Days staff regarding updates to your event listing as you finalize plans and execute promotions for your awesome event!
  • Social Media — Do not forget to tag #RemakeDaysWI on social media posts about your event.

4. During the Festival Week

  • Host your event(s) and have fun!
  • Share the participant survey QR code with your attendees.
  • Enjoy the Remake Learning Days Festival and all the cool events it has to offer!

5. After the Festival

Then join the Wisconsin team for an informal after-work Event Host networking celebration in town!

Respond to the post-event email and Event Host survey to provide your attendance, photos, anecdotes and feedback.

Let’s recapture and celebrate the joy in learning!

The goal of Remake Learning Days is to celebrate joyful hands-on learning in the community and for parents and caregivers to learn alongside their kids.
