Eli Epperson is a Philly native who attributes much of his love of learning to the guidance and support he received from teachers and mentors while he was a School District of Philadelphia student. His background spans engineering and patent law and in 2024 he graduated from MIT with a Master’s in City Planning. His work focuses on STEM workforce development in his hometown and he leads an urban history walking tour of Philadelphia in his free time.

This collaborative program provides students with meaningful arts education and culminates in a public exhibition of their work at the Helen Millard Children’s Gallery at Woodmere.
