The 3rd Annual Southwestern PA Youth Pitch Competition is a platform for young entrepreneurs from schools and community-based organizations to compete in BUILD’s Design Challenge to create a product, service, or campaign to support a thriving community. Student teams from across Allegheny and Westmoreland counties have spent the past month perfecting their pitches. Join us to experience the magic of BUILDFest, the final round of competition. The event will feature the top 10 out of 30 local teams; the Final 3 teams will compete live in front of a panel of professional judges for a chance to win prize money from a pool of almost $10,000! The remaining semi-finalists teams will showcase their innovative solutions in a gallery walk format during the opening reception.
Highlighting BUILD’s mission to support youth to develop real world skills, the Southwestern PA Youth Pitch Competition aims to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills in high school students, paving the way for a more prosperous future.
