Climbing to New Heights: A family-friendly event offering free access to thrilling activities such as upper and lower courses, 160-ft zip line, climbing wall, stories from Carnegie Library of Homestead, and hands-on construction of zip lines or bridges for endless fun!

Join us at Dragon’s Den, a youth development center nestled in the historic St. Mary Magdalene, for our exciting family event, “Climbing to New Heights.” Delight in a day of adventure and exploration, completely free of charge.

Experience the thrill of our upper and lower rope courses, soar on our 160-foot zip line, and conquer our challenging climbing wall. Immerse yourself in the magic of storytelling with captivating tales provided by our partner, Carnegie Library of Homestead. Engage your creativity as you design and construct your very own zip lines or bridges, fostering teamwork and ingenuity. Whether you’re seeking adrenaline-pumping activities or a moment of quiet relaxation with a good book, there’s something for everyone at “Climbing to New Heights.”

Career Ready PA is excited to uplift Remake Learning Days events and provide a seamless opportunity for K-12 students to obtain artifacts for their career portfolio. Events that qualify for Career Ready PA Backpack Challenge will provide participants the opportunity to gain a 21st century learning skill or be exposed to future careers. After this event, students will need to complete the artifact survey.  This survey will be shared with your public K-12 school so you and your school can earn career portfolio credit for the Backpack Challenge!
