About this event

Mountain Sol School, in collaboration with National Geographic, presents the Mountain SOL Film festival: a public viewing of 1-minute-long student-created videos about ecology, advocacy, and the environment.

Please Join us for an evening filled with music, community, storytelling, and youth-created films!
Mountain SOL School, in collaboration with National Geographic, spent 2023 promoting and uplifting West Virginia youth voices via the Slingshot Challenge. This annual film challenge has allowed WV teens to share their visions for a better planet, for their communities, and their futures.
For this event we will be hosting a live viewing of each student’s 1-minute video submission, surrounded by nature at Chestnut Ridge Park.
