Bringing joyful learning to families:

Badgerland’s Remake Learning Days unfurls pathways of discovery

The annual festival returns to southern Wisconsin April 20-28, creating moments of wonder, discovery and joyful learning for children, parents, caregivers, and educators.

“Remake Learning Days” is the largest global learning festival bringing together students, families, teachers and local communities to experience the wonder of learning.   Festivals are planned across 15 regions in the United States, and in 3 international locations: Uruguay, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.  Supporting the festival is a growing body of research showing that shared community exploration and learning improves students’ academic performance and social skills, exposing them to a world of opportunities, interests and life-changing experiences.

In Wisconsin, the Remake Learning Days Festival takes place April 20-28 at locations across southcentral Wisconsin.  Events cover themes of the arts, sciences, maker ed, outdoor learning, technology and youth voice.  The majority of events are free to youth and families.

Locally, over five dozen organizations, including museums, libraries, schools, after school programs, local businesses and community organizations are collaborating to celebrate joyful learning at locations throughout the region, inviting families to:

  • Enjoy two community-wide Festival Kick-Off events to preview and celebrate the joyful learning and fun that Remake Learning Days has in store:
