Learn about emerging summer insects by constructing a moving solar-powered insect of your choice.
Using pre-cut design kids will get to watercolor a wooden insect design beforing assembling a solar array. Once the array is attached the insect will come to life, wriggling and shaken when exposed to sunlight. Select number of insect designs to choose from such as a bee, beetle, and moth.
Career Ready PA is excited to uplift Remake Learning Days events and provide a seamless opportunity for K-12 students to obtain artifacts for their career portfolio. Events that qualify for Career Ready PA Backpack Challenge will provide participants the opportunity to gain a 21st century learning skill or be exposed to future careers. After this event, students will need to complete the artifact survey. This survey will be shared with your public K-12 school so you and your school can earn career portfolio credit for the Backpack Challenge!
