About this event

Students will use recycled cardboard and boxes to create arts and crafts.

Put your creativity to work by using recycled materials such as cardboard boxes and paper tissue rolls to make one-of-a-kind pieces! From yarn hair dolls to rocket ships, the possibilities are endless with these simple materials. Let your imagination run wild as you experiment with different shapes and sizes to create something of your own.

We will empower young people to take charge of their creations. Through this process, they will learn about the importance of repurposing materials and reducing waste while also developing their artistic skills. These crafts will be a testament to their ingenuity and resourcefulness, and they will take pride in showing off their handiwork.

This activity is part of an evening of fun, discovery, and creativity at Park Hill Professional Studies’ Remake Learning Days event at LEAD Innovation Studio. Enjoy this and other hands-on activities for children and families to rotate through at their own pace. All events are free.
