Our goal is to provide education to students, caregivers, families, and community members about River Valley Transit to help them feel more comfortable utilizing public transportation and gain independence with the community in which they live.
BLaST IU17 will be parterning with River Valley Transit (RVT) and offering education about public transportation within Lycoming County to students, familes/caregivers, educators, and community members. The city bus will be on site for individuals to explore along with an employee from RVT to discuss the steps of utilizing public transportation from purchasing a bus pass, navigating your ride, and adaptations/modifications provided to meet the needs of all riders.
