Participants will complete a hands on exercise using an industrial robot to solve a manufacturing problem This event will connect students with their STEM education and provide them a pathway for careers in automation. The event will show that anyone can do robotics.
Precision Cobotics works in partnerhsip with Millersville University to provide real world manafacturing problems to be solved in the Robotics WorX lab. In this lab Precision Cobotics staff guides a team of Millersville engineering students working beside area high school students to design, program and test robotic solutions.
For this event we will be opening up this space for all to explore the exciting challanges provided in the lab using a mix of mechanical, electrical and programming skills.
The goal of the event is to open the eyes that automation and manufacturing are exciting careers to enter to continue your STEM education in the real world.
