Local/state police will give lessons on cyber safety and bullying then children will paint river rocks to hide in the community to spread the message all year long!
Cherry River Elementary hosts the local police as they visit to inform our students about cyber safety and cyber bullying that affects our children. From giving out too much information during gaming to saying things that hurt other children on social media. Come join us as we get a lesson from police, then paint river rocks with a message we learn this day to take later and hide over the summer. Children will have a challenge to hide and seek these rocks all summer long in the community to remember what they learned during this event. They will receive a bracelet that speaks to our “no bullying” message that day to take home as well. Parents will be invited and this will be a fun family day at the school!
