About this event

Learn about what it is like to work at a museum!

What is behind those doors? What exactly do museum employees do when there aren’t visitors? Join the staff and volunteers of Wornall/Majors to go behind the scenes at the museum. Doors that are normally closed will be open (they are primarily collections storage).  Our office (located in the off-limits stranger rooms) will also be available. Director Sarah Bader-King will be available to answer any burning questions about the museum. Plus, a one-day exhibit will cover what it is like to work in the museum world.

Elementary-age students can try their hand at archeology and artifact handling as part of Remake Learning Days: Kansas City.
