Reading group for young children and their families with hands on exploration, Interactive STEM and Nature activities.
Read and Explore is a weekly book club for young children. We meet 10 a.m., every Tuesday at the Environmental Education Center of Montour Preserve. We cover a different STEM/Nature related topic each week. After reading about the topic together, we participate in a hands on craft an explore the topic in more depth. Exploration may include short nature walks, pond exploration and animal studies.
This program is geared towards younger children and their families, but all are welcome to come join the fun.
