Learn how to identify amphibians and learn about their role in the ecosystem during this 1 mile walk.

Salamandars, frogs and tadpoles! Join the Park Naturalist and Crawford County PARS (Pennsylvania Amphibian and Reptile Survey) coordinator, Nik Simone for an amphibian search along Ackerman Trail. Learn how you can become a part of Citizen Science by taking part in PARS. Bring knee boots and nets if you have them. Be prepared to walk approx. one mile.

If you need an accommodation to participate in park activities due to a disability, please contact the park you plan to visit. With at least seven days’ notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for educational programs.
