About this event

Join us for a day of planting, learning, and growing alongside our Agriculture Program students who will share their knowledge of plant science while leading a sunflower planting workshop with Ernst Seeds right on our campus in Union City, Pennsylvania.

The Union City Area School District has been home to a robust Agriculture program for years. This Spring, we’re taking our students’ knowledge and skills to a whole new level by transforming our campus with crops of our own. For this Remake Learning Event, join our high school students alongside our agriculture instructor, curriculum director, area farmers, Ernst Conservation Seeds, and the Presque Isle Audubon Society as we lead a sunflower planting workshop. Participants will have the opportunity to visit our campus to learn about agriculture, plant science, and growing and harvesting sunflowers for use.
