Come help out the Naturalist and let’s see what we can catch and identify in the creek!
Stream Stomp!
Saturday, May 18 10:30am – 12:00pm
Let’s see what we can catch in the creek! Historic Pidcock Creek was and still is the main source of power for the historic Thompson-Neely Grist Mill. Grab your stream shoes and team up with the Park Naturalist for a morning of watershed education! Help identify the aquatic insects and other creatures that live within the creek.
Nets will be provided, but you can bring your own! Water shoes/boots must be worn at all times. Some boots will be provided, but participants are highly encouraged to bring their own old sneakers, water shoes, or boots.
