Bobcats, Bugs and Blooms in the Courtyard Event provides the community an opportunity to come and learn about the host plants and life cycle of caterpillars.
In collaboration with the the teachers of College Square and the Penn State Master Gardeners of Beaver County, community members can come and participate or observe the transformation of the College Square Courtyard into a garden where caterpillars can safely go through their lifecycle to become butterflies. We will also provide visitors with information about the life cycle of plants and caterpillars, take home planting kits for young gardeners and a free contest to win butterfly kits.
